Kenting National Park, commonly known as Kenting, is a national park located on the Hengchun Peninsula of Pingtung County, Taiwan, covering Hengchun, Checheng, and Manzhou Townships. Established on 1 January 1984, it is Taiwan's oldest and the southernmost national park on the main island, covering the southernmost area of the Taiwan island along Bashi Channel. Administered by the Executive Yuan's Ministry of the Interior, this national park is well known for its tropical climate and sunshine, scenic mountain and beach, the Spring Scream rock-band festival held in every March.

Day 1 Arrival - Taipei

  • Upon arrival Taoyuan International Airport, you will be transferred to hotel check-in and free & easy.


Day 2 Taipei - Taichung (B/L)

  • Jingtong Old Street - Visit the busiest old street of Jingtong located at the exit of the Jingtong Railway Station.
  • Shifen Old Street - Experience the nostalgic ambiance of Shifen. Railroad tracks run through this old street with shops, restaurants, and sky-lantern.
  • Jiufen - Explore narrow alleyways of its old town, packed with teahouses, street-food shacks, and souvenir shops.
  • Gaomei Wetlands - Discover the stunning natural scenery during the golden hour. Two rows of huge wind power vehicles are in sight. Observe the rich ecology as you stroll down the wooden pathway that leads you closer to the ocean waters.
  • Fengjia Night Market - The largest night market that offers local snacks and fashionable shops.


Day 3 Taichung - Kaohsiung (B/L)

  • Ten Drum Culture Village - Witness an outstanding drumming performance delivered by the talented Ten Drum Art Percussion Group.
  • Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum - Visit a Mahayana Buddhist cultural, religious, and educational museum. The museum houses one of the tooth relics of Sakyamuni Buddha, the founder of the Buddhist faith.
  • Vigor Kobo - Visit the castle of golden pineapple and experience DIY Pineapple cakes.
  • MRT Experience - Explore Kaohsiung MRT, it's named the 2nd Most Beautiful Train Stations in the World!

Day 4 Kaohsiung - Kenting (B/L)
  • Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area - Take a boat tour to Oyster Shell Island and enjoy all you can eat roasted oysters.
  • Kenting National Park - You will explore the national park that well known for its tropical climate and sunshine, scenic mountain, coral reefs, and beach.
  • Shell Sand Exhibition Hall - Exhibitions the formation of the seashell beach and the preservation of seashell sand.
  • Longpan Park - The park faces east to the Pacific Ocean with open grassland. Take a stroll around the site and stop at some great viewpoints.
  • Eluanbi Lighthouse - The landmark of Eluanbi peninsula, the southernmost point of Taiwan with coast covered with coral reefs.
  • Kenting Street - Visit a night market where you can end your day tasting authentic Taiwanese snacks.

Day 5 Kenting - Nantou (B/L)

  • King Garden - A majestic European castle with the giant chessboard and the dreamy chariot in front of the castle.
  • Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area - You may discover optional bike riding around the beautiful lake, hop aboard a boat or cable car as you enjoy the fantastic scenery.
  • Wenwu Temple - Learn about the local culture and heritage by visiting this temple and overlooks the panoramic view of Sun Moon Lake from the observation deck. Discover the Wenwu Steps Stairway to Heaven. Every step corresponds to a specific day of a leap year.
  • Ita Thao Shopping District - Sampling delicious food made by the indigenous people are unique experiences here.
  • After the tour, check-in resort and enjoy soaking in a Hot Spring. (Bring your own swimsuit and swimming cap)


Day 6 Nantou - Taipei (B/L)

  • Discover a Taiwan High-Speed Rail from Taoyuan to Taipei.
  • National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine - A shrine dedicated to the war dead of the Republic of China.
  • Taipei 101 - Towering landmark skyscraper offering financial services and vibrant shopping malls, gathers the world's top brands and observation deck on the 89th floor.
  • Four Four South Village - The village has been partially renovated and is home to model homes from its original use, cultural and creative stores, a restaurant, and occasional arts and crafts markets.
  • Wufenpu - A shopping district is best known for its wholesale garment market. The undisputed place for a crazy bargain.
  • Raohe Night Market - The oldest night market in Taipei, taste for unique local dishes when you are here!


Day 7 Departure - Taipei (B)

  • You will be transferred to Taoyuan International Airport for your flight back home.

  • Our tours are conducted in Mandarin Speaking local guide.
  • This is a tour that requires frequent walking. Please wear comfortable shoes & clothing.
  • Please note that this package is not suitable for people with disabilities or walking difficulty.

Accommodation

  • Your final hotel name and details will be provided 5 days prior to tour departure. In the unlikely event, the operator reserves the right to change the hotel of a similar class.
  • You must not exceed the maximum specified occupancy for the room type which you have booked. For the extra bed, hotel may arrange a bed, a couch type bed or a roll-away bed
  • Child policy: 7 years old and above must apply to Child with bed fare.

Meal

  • Breakfasts are mostly buffet at the hotel. Lunch and dinner are mostly local group meals.
  • If the meals not included in the program. Simple lunch and dinner price is about TWD 150 - TWD 500 per person.
  • Vegetarian and Halal option is only available as per request. Please indicate them during booking.

Transportation

  • Tour will be operate by sharing vehicle. Vehicle type may change depend on the group size of participants in the tour.
  • Each person with 1 piece of baggage. Each baggage must not exceed 81cm (H) x 119cm (W) x 119 cm (D).

Entrance Ticket

  • Tour Guide will assist you to purchase entrance ticket at your own cost if entrance ticket is not included.

Extension

  • For Sharing Vehicle customer who extends their tour, departure airport transfer will be subjected to additional charges.

Arrival & Departure Pick Up Information

  • Arrival & departure airport transfers will be operating by sharing vehicle with English or Mandarin Speaking Driver.
  • Arrival - The local representative will be waiting at the meeting point holding a placard wait for you up to 1 hour 20 minutes from your flight landing time. If you are delayed, please message to driver or emergency contact person. A surcharge will be imposed.
  • Departure - The pick-up time is 4 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. The pick-up information will be updated on the booking confirmation.

Tour Pick Up Information

  • Your final pick-up information will be provided on your final tour itinerary prior to your arrival.

Guidelines During The Tour

  • The operator will not take responsibility if the attraction is closed due to maintenance or any other situation beyond the operators control. No refunds or reschedules will be issued in this case.
  • If you choose to leave in the middle of the tour, please inform your tour manager and you have to make your own way back to your hotel at your own cost.

Tourist Visa

  • We recommend that you check with your Local Embassy for the visa requirement of your nationality. This is to ensure that you have a pleasant holiday.

Travel Insurance

  • We recommend buying travel insurance before you travel to make sure that you are covered financially during the tour.

Local Transportation

  • Taiwan is full of public transportation options to help you get around as soon as you get here.
  • Train - The city has more than one railway station. Taipei Railway Station is the largest, where Taiwan Rail Line and Taiwan High-Speed Rail (THSR) meet. You can go to any other Taiwan cities through Taiwan Rail Line, such as Yilan, Hualien, Taitung, and Pingtung.
  • City Bus - There are over 300 bus routes in the city. Shihlin, Chung Hsiao East Road, and Zhonghua Road are all-important transfer places. Besides, you can take the bus near almost each metro station to those scenic spots. A one-section journey costs TWD 15. 

Currency

  • The New Taiwan dollar (TWD) is the official currency of Taiwan.

Seasonal Weather

  • Taiwan has four official seasons:
  • Weather: Spring is from March to May. Summer is from June to August. Autumn is from September to November. Winter is from December to February.

Cancellation & Refund Policy Before Tour Departure Date

  • All cancellation must be made in writing. 
  • 10% of the total tour fare will be imposed for cancellation after confirmation of the tour.
  • 50% of the total tour fare will be imposed for cancellation made between 15 to 30 days prior to departure.
  • 100% of the total tour fare will be imposed for cancellation made less than14 days prior to departure.
Cancellation & Refund Policy During the Tour:

  • There is no refund value for unused portions of tour and travel services.
